About the Role:

Herald Square Psychology PLLC is seeking a Licensed Doctorate Psychologist to join our team in New York, NY on a fee-for-service basis conducting intakes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated psychologist to work flexibly while making a meaningful impact on clients from the very start of their mental health journey. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological intake evaluations for new clients
Perform clinical interviews to assess presenting concerns, mental health history, and treatment needs
Formulate diagnostic impressions using DSM-5 criteria
Complete timely and thorough intake documentation and clinical notes
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless client transitions into ongoing care
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards set by APA guidelines

Requirements:

Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) in Psychology required
Active New York State license as a Psychologist in good standing
Experience conducting clinical intakes, psychological assessments, or diagnostic evaluations
Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based practices
Excellent clinical interviewing and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fee-for-service model
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation

Compensation: $150.00 - $300.00 per hour
